Short backstory: Lissi is a poor servant from Rohan, who lives with with her younger sister. Her parents were tragically killed in the War of the Ring, and she and her sister struggle to support themselves. Eowyn befriended her, and sometimes takes her on long rides around Rohan. Her mother if a hobbit (making Lissi rather short for her age), and is related to Bilbo Baggins (somehow ;), so Lissi visits the Shire every so often.
